Zaiden is all decked out in his Bears gear today. Here he is relaxing outside before the big game tonight. As everyone knows, Dad is the biggest Bears fan around! He cut his finger once and his blood was orange and blue!!! True story!!
Zaiden will get to watch some of the game ….it starts right before bath time and Zaiden didn’t have such a good nap today so I’m sure he’s gonna be tired tonight. And he got new Thomas pj’s today. If he’s not too crabby, I’ll try to get a picture.

My original plan was to show a before and after. However the after was so bad. This picture of Zaiden was early in the morning before he went to Rocky’s. After a couple of snacks, lunch and dinner the after picture was unrecognizable. So let’s stick with the before picture. Zaiden is so cute.

Today Zaiden and dad drove out to see June, Grant, Edris & Katie. We played with lots of toys. It was so much fun. Aunt June made lunch. We tried and did not like watermellon. We also tried grapes. Zaiden didn’t really like them either. After lunch we helped cleanup and said good nite to Grant who was going to take a nap. After many goodbye’s we started our long ride home. It wasn’t 10 minutes before Zaiden was sleeping. Goodnite Zaiden.

Well if Dad can do it….I want to post things too!! Almost time for Zaiden to have a shower and get to bed. He’s going to visit his buddy Grant and Aunt June tomorrow. Grandma Edris (Wes’ mom) is visiting from NY so he will get to see her too! Sounds like he will have a great day! Cross your fingers that he sleeps good!! I have my toes crossed too!!

I’m sad to report that mommy is hurt. Last nite just before Zaidens shower momy hurt her foot. She has been to the doctor several times over the last couple of months. This time she is on crutches. She is going to have a hard time getting around. Sister has been helping out picking up and dropping off Zaiden. As I reported earlier she now has her license. Unfortunately her car is still not ready. Dad has to work on it this weekend because summer is running out and I’m sure she wants to drive with the top down.
Oh and Zaiden had figured out how to open the fridge. The problem is he stands there with the door open or walks away leaving it open. Time to visit Babies R Us to buy a lock.
I didn’t get to take any good pictures today so here is another one from last weekend. Since dad is from Indiana I took this picture because it says Indiana Harbor Belt. When I took the picture I thought papaw worked there a long time ago. I was wrong. He dis work at a railroad but it was EJ&E.
I almost forgot. Today dad installed software on mommy’s phone. This way it will be easy for her to post messages here on Zaidens website.

Sorry for the late post. Last Saturday, Zaiden, mom and dad went out to union Il. to see Thomas the train. We actually took a ride on the him. Zaiden was amazed at all the trains. Every other word out of his mouth was THOMAS. Mom thought his little cheeks were going to burst from smiling. Zaiden also got to spend time with his friends Grant and Nathan. All three boys had a blast.
After we left Thomas we went to visit aunt June and Grant. Both boys were tired from the long day but they got to play for a while.
Oh I also forgot to tell everyone that sister Sierra got her drivers license. She was so excited. Look out everyone, here comes Sierra.
Here is a picture we took out in Union Il at the train museum. There was a huge store filled with Thomas gear. As kids entered the store they were happy and smiling. When they left they were crying and mad. Zaiden was only a little bit upset but we solved that by purchasing a Thomas ball at the checkout.

Here is zaiden eating one of his favorite meals. As you can see zaiden is quite big for his age and now you know why. This kid devoured a whole bowl plus a ton of green beans. Wait that’s not it. Before he was finished he was yelling for fruip. That’s not a typo. He says fruip but we know he means fruit.
Tonite mommy worked late again. Sister is studying for her drivers test this Saturday. So if you don’t absolutly have to leave the house this weekend I would stay off the roads. Just kidding, we all hope she passes her test. We need her to run to the store. Kidding again.
Mom is upstairs right now putting Zaiden to sleep. Maybe we all can get to bed early tonight. Thank god tomorrow is Friday. Only two more days to Zaiden’s big surprise. Here is another hint. Zaiden is going to see something that is big and blue with a number 1 on it’s side. Have you guessed it yet?

Sometime around 4am this morning Zaiden woke up crying. I went and picked him up and brought him to sleep with mom and dad. That was mistake number one. From that point on he was wiggling around. He would not go back to sleep. Everytime mom would tell him it was time for night-night he would cry and say daddy. Needless to say we were all awake from that point on. Momy told him that he’s going to fall asleep during story time at Rock’s but he didn’t care.
Anyway dad went to work early because mom has to work late again. Poor mommy. Maybe this afternoon Zaiden will feel photogenic and I’ll post some pics.

Today mommy had to work late. Dad picked up Zaiden from Rocky’s. Zaiden got to see his friend steven (or as Zaiden calls him, Steben). We were giving Steven a ride home. Zaiden constantly calls his name the whole ride home. Steven’s only reply is “yes Zaiden”. But Zaiden only calls his name again.
For dinner we had lasagna. We also found out zaiden loves corn. He was eating it by the handful. Don’t tell mom or Rocky. We’ll let them find out the hard way.
After dinner Zaiden, dad & Sierra went to Sierra’s new school. She starts college next week. We bought some of the school books she needed. A quick couple C notes.  On the ride home we talked with nana. When we got home we took a shower and waited for mommy to get home. She is really working a lot. We all can’t wait until this weekend. Zaiden has a big surprise this Saturday. I’ll give you a hint. We are going to see a famous choo choo. Good night all. Sorry no good pictures today. Maybe I’ll post some tomorrow.

Usually after dinner you can here Zaiden yelling Choo Choo.  He loves to watch Thomas the train.  The big screen tv in the living room has turned into his personal tv.  The rest of the family has to wait until he goes to bed to watch something other than Thomas, Mickey Mouse Club House, Elmo or Calliou. 

This weekend Zaiden is in for a big surprise.  He is going to Union, IL to actually take a ride on Thomas.   He doesn’t know it yet but I can’t wait to see the look on his face.  I’ll be sure to take a lot of pictures. 

Today was very usual.  Zaiden talked on the phone with both Nana & Grandma.  Nana was first before bath and Grandma was just before bed.
