Here are some awesome pictures that really capture how photogenic Zaiden can be. Zaiden loves the water so this pool will be very useful this summer. Now we just have to worry about his fair complexion. The Mexican gene is very watered down as Zaiden is only 1/4 Hispanic. Don’t worry son we’ll get you some sun block. Blue eyes, light brown hair & fair skin now that’s Mexican.

Zaiden is definately going through his terrible two’s. This past weekend we went to visit nana for mothers day. After lunch at olive garden we went to the mall. On the way out Zaiden saw the carousel and had to ride it. We tried to bypass it but the kid has eagle eyes and there was no choice but a ride. He was crying 30 seconds before this picture but quickly rebounded after he mounted the horse. The ride only lasted about 5 minutes and it was not a pretty sight after. After the mall we went to nana’s house for a visit. Zaiden got to see papaw and uncle Anthony. He had a great time and was so wound up that he didn’t fall asleep until we were 10 minutes from home.

Daddy has so many great pictures on his phone. I’m sorry that I don’t always keep everyone updated. Zaiden has been watching lots of Yo Gabba Gabba and has learned some “cool tricks”. We’ve caught him saying “My name is Zaiden and this is my cool trick!”. Here is our funny little boy showing off.

Today mommy and daddy took Zaiden to get his haircut. Up until today this was a terrible experience. Zaiden would cry and either mom or dad would have to hold him as he screamed. We can’t explain it but zaiden ran into the shop and amazed us with his calmness. Dad got some good pictures of him cheezing for the camera. I will post them tomorrow. Now let’s hope he will sleep through the night. Oh yea I forgot to mention Zaiden was up last night from 2am til 4am. Mommy ended up putting him to sleep. We can all use a good night’s sleep.

Everybody beter watch out. Zaiden is getting getting ready for summer. He can almost work the pedals all by himself. He keeps saying “push it”. Not that he wants mommy or daddy to push him, he’s trying to push the pedals with his feet. We have the seat all the way forward but he can barely reach both pedals. We will keep practicing so the spring and summer Zaiden can get the most out of the excellent gift that aunt Nina bought him. Zaiden has been sick this last week. Daddy is afraid to take him outside and let him ride on the sidewalk. Not to mention the foot of snow we got the other day. Maybe if Zaiden gets over his cough Daddy will dress him in his snowsuite (like the little boy from the Xmas story movie) and shoot a video of him riding his tricycle. Thanks again aunt Nina.

I had this movie on my phone for a while. I decided to post it so everyone knows how smart Zaiden really is. Here is your favorite todder and his sister as they spell Happy Birthday. I think he got them all except the “Y”. To his defense, he got it right at the end. Way to go. Learning from his mistakes already.

Zaiden usually hates wearing hats. For some reason he didn’t mind wearing this one. He didn’t keep it on long. Daddy was able to get this picture on the car ride to the mall to see Santa.
